When you go to Pacific Rim Park on Vancouver Island, make sure you visit Tofino on the other side of the inlet, a little ways up coast from Ucluelet – it’s a really cool cold-water surfing town with a great vibe. Try https://tofinoseakayaking.com/ for a unique experience kayaking thru Clayoquot Sound and visiting a 1500 year old forest on Meares Island, owned by First Nations peoples.
Also consider staying at Rathtrevor Beach campground on the inland side of the island. Not as secluded as your prefer but lovely well tended campground on a wide stretch of beach – it’s gorgeous. You can drive Hwy 4 from inland to ocean and pass Cameron Lake – one of the most amazing drives I’ve ever done.
You would truly enjoy staying on Vancouver Island for several days or even a couple of weeks!

When in Olympic National Park, consider staying at Sol Duc Campground and make that your base for some exploring of Crescent Lake (there’s a fantastic bike trail), Hoh Rainforest, and Rialto Beach, all stunning and otherworldly. Also the hike to Sol Duc Falls is right there for you – it’s breathtaking! Cheers!

From Arches, I would head to the Canyon of the Ancients in SW Colorado/SE Utah.

When in New Mexico, I suggest visiting Chaco Canyon. There is a campground there, but a bone jarring washboard road to get there, so maybe a day trip. However, one of the most mystical, educational, and remarkable places In the US.
In Utah, a couple of must see places are Calf Creek falls near Boulder and Bryce Canyon. Calf Creek campground is very nice but hard to get a spot. The falls is a shortish hike from the campground, and worth every step, The road between Boulder and Bryce, Utah Highway 12, is my favorite highway in the US. Bryce is the most visually astounding National Park.
Also in Boulder, a town of approx. 200 people, is one of the best restaurants in the western US, the Hells Backbone Grill. The two owners/chefs are up for the 2020 James Beard award, and it has been written up in The NY Times. Learning how and why it is in Boulder Utah, and the story behind it is worth the trip alone.
